“Børnevenligt hotel flot indrettet”
The facilities at Polynesia are great, the hotel is beautifully decorated, wow… The whole place needs a proper overhaul with renovations of both rooms and facilities. Our shower sprayed water across the entire bathroom; we mentioned it at reception, but it wasn’t fixed while we were there. In both the hotel pool and SplashWorld, there were many loose tiles/paint and the lounge chairs were really worn. We were in the spa and that was really nice too… We had a wonderful week; the staff were very friendly, smiling, and did their best. The food was very good (considering it was all‑inclusive). We ate outdoors at all meals, which was great for avoiding noise, and indoors they did a lot to make the dining room cozy, really nice to see. There was an option to buy better wine to pair with the food. We had several evenings of well‑prepared fish, and there was always something slow‑cooked, which was really tender and delicious. Various salts were available for seasoning, which was thoughtfully done. Saturday night was a seafood night with mussels, large prawns, and grilled shrimp, and breakfast was also nice with a wide selection. The snack bar food was not very good, often cold. There were the typical all‑inclusive ice‑cream cups, but overall it was a very good experience visiting Polynesia, and the children loved it. The hotel was very worn and needs renovation.
