The beds are comfy, each with a curtain and an MDF niche to keep items from falling, plus a power outlet and individual lighting; the curtains block the glare, rooms have air conditioning, bathroom cleaning is excellent, and the staff are nice, but the common area isn’t very inviting and when I went there were almost no guests.

The place is very pretty, has a pool, the hosts are pleasant and always courteous and met my needs, totally recommendable, though the bed and pillows aren’t that comfortable, but for the price and quality it’s very good.

The location is super direct in Ipanema, a social hostel where you quickly meet people and can do a lot; each bed has its own roll‑up, and there are large lockers to store luggage and stuff, plus free coffee, but some rooms are a bit cramped and the linens aren’t entirely clean.

The staff were especially kind, bizarrely helpful and sweet; even after sleeping there for just one night and returning a week later for info, I was so well assisted. I travel alone as a woman and that’s exactly what you need. Guilherme gave me so many tips and was really there for me when I didn’t feel relaxed. Highly recommend for good contacts, a sense of safety and coziness! I usually never stay in hostels, but I didn’t find it very hygienic (maybe my fault). Still great!
