Overall, a very good hostel.

The location is good, and the hostel offers decent value for the price. Some things could be improved, like the AC which is poorly calibrated and leans toward cold, and adding more sinks. I didn’t like that after 6 pm there was no staff; everyone left and returned the next day, so guests asking about beds had no one to help. The hostel stays open and there is no security after 6 pm. But overall these are minor details for the price. When you arrive, it’s best to check your bed because when I got there, someone had already taken my bed and I had to run after the owner as the staff were leaving for the next day. If you’re not careful, you might end up sleeping in a bed with dirty sheets from a guest who had just left.

The staff are kind. The beds are terrible, barely holding together. The bathroom and showers are gross; sometimes there’s no soap or paper towels at the sink. Toilet paper ran out, which is understandable when it’s busy, but they only cleaned in the morning and didn’t restock. It felt like they never even entered to check each stall. Nothing gets cleaned (sheets/towels) during your stay, only once you leave.

“Bien”

The room is large and only 10 minutes on foot from the center. There is a lot of space in the rooms and hallways; it would be nice to have a coat rack so we could lay out our towels. The shower gel and shampoo are not always refilled, so we have to switch showers.
