We loved the view and surroundings, but most of the staff seemed like temporary hires and lacked knowledge. For the price we paid, breakfast could have been better, and they need more vegetarian options that exclude mushrooms because some people are allergic.

The apartment was lovely and we enjoyed breakfast with a view of the fjord, though the couch simply wasn’t big enough for three people.

The place sits right on the fjord and feels remote; the seafood restaurant was excellent but the wine selection was limited, which makes sense. The staff were great and helpful, and the bed was super comfortable. The price, however, was a problem – I booked in July for about $217, but after a roster change I had to move to August and the cost jumped to $565, which was far too high for what was offered, though I had no choice because of my planned itinerary.
