The luxury family room felt like a ballroom. We could easily store our bikes and relax on the benches after a long ride. It was extremely quiet. We had a minor issue entering because we didn’t receive a code or instructions, but the phone call fixed it quickly. On the weekend there was no terrace or bar, and the local pub was closed. I expected a coffee bar and shared kitchen in the hotel, but none were visible, and there was no coffee in the room. We managed to be self-sufficient, but it was a bit sparse. Finally, the room is at the back near the rear entrance where people stand to smoke, and the standing ashtray is right there. The wind blows in, which isn’t pleasant. Moving the ashtray a bit farther or around the corner would help.

The room was cramped and dirty. It was located directly at the main entrance, so every word could be heard and the doors were constantly audible. This place absolutely needs renovation. Breakfast for an extra charge was fine.

The location is great if you need to be in the region, but there’s nothing else to do nearby. There’s a small outdoor garden and a channel/river. The outdoors is calm and nice. The staff are helpful. The whole interior feels somewhat dated. The room only had tiled floors, it was huge and quite dark, not cosy. I found no cups or glasses in the room, and since the staff left around 20:30, there was no one to ask for them.
