The accommodations were amazing, everything comfortable… the suite I stayed in was well organized and cozy. The linens, mattress, and cleanliness were truly among the best places I've ever been. Everything else was perfect, from the lodging to the other aspects, and I slept very well for all three days because it was so comfortable. The staff were extremely polite.

We had an excellent experience at Refúgio in every way! The lodge is very pleasant, cozy, and well maintained. Every detail was designed to offer comfort, peace, and a great experience for guests. Service was outstanding, with a caring, polite team always ready to help. The setting feels peaceful and is ideal for those looking to rest and enjoy special moments. It definitely surpassed our expectations. I highly recommend Refúgio and would certainly return! The bikes are few and the ones available are broken.

“É perfeito de dia, só a noite deixou a desejar…”

Everything was tidy and clean, and the place itself is gorgeous. But at night the lighting is almost non‑existent – especially around the bamboo groves and the rooms next to them. A few extra lights would make the whole area even more beautiful.

“Não recomendo em dias de chuva”

The setting is peaceful and breakfast is generous. On a rainy day the walk between the lodge areas was slippery and the restaurant service was sluggish – food took ages to reach the room and even in the dining area. The worst part was finding a bloodied dog at the cabin door and the staff never even called.

The food menu offers both gourmet and budget choices, and breakfast is solid. Unfortunately the billiards table has broken cues, the ping‑pong table is busted, and the totó is broken.
