The spot is spot on, right next to a bunch of eateries and convenience shops, and a quick, cheap tricycle will take you straight to SM City La Union, the biggest mall in the area. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, which was a big plus.

The only bright side was the location close to the beach. The rest was a mess: the place felt unhygienic, water would cut out intermittently, and there were too few pillows and towels. The rooms were cramped, and the bathroom inside the room was so tiny you couldn't move. Noise was constant and the security felt lacking. There were no tables in the room at all, giving it a military vibe. Lizards hovered around the bed, and there were no cooking utensils—renting an electric cooker for 500 pesos was a hassle and it didn’t even work. No microwave, and the fridge was broken. Elderly guests struggled with the discomfort, and mosquitoes swarmed both inside and outside. The staff seemed clueless and unhelpful.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to its prime location that allowed me to easily explore the surrounding area. However, I encountered some issues with the water supply, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite this, the hotel's location made up for it, and I was able to enjoy the local attractions.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, I loved that it was just a short stroll from the beautiful beach and some of the most iconic diners in Little Universe. However, I did find that the hotel could improve by providing a cozy spot for guests to enjoy take-out meals, perhaps a small table or two would make a big difference. Overall, the location was a major win, but a few extra touches could elevate the stay.
