“Poor run down facility.”

The building felt old, dirty, and run‑down, which left me very disappointed and forced me to cancel my reservation; it was like a ghost town, the pool was closed because it was for non‑customers, the mini‑fridge barely stayed cold, and although the staff were nice, they definitely suggested checking out the facility before checking in. I disliked everything about the place and it clearly needs major upkeep and maintenance.

The staff were friendly and the room service rates were reasonable; unfortunately, we spotted two small cockroaches in the room.

“Road to the hotel needs major improvement.”

The rooms are nice, each with a balcony and a partial ocean view, and the hotel is close to restaurants; the swimming pool is enjoyable. However, the beach behind the hotel isn’t suitable for swimming because the waves crash right onto the steps, and there are many wastewater runoffs into the ocean behind neighboring hotels, plus a lot of trash on the beach. The road in front of the hotel is under construction, rough and dusty, and breakfast offers very few options.

The Grand Suite was a good‑sized room, but I couldn’t connect Netflix to the TV, the staff seemed uninterested in helping, they never appeared to serve drinks, wouldn’t change currency, and when the bell boy went outside to flag down our taxi, he disappeared.
