The room was clean and centrally located in the Point Richmond area, close to restaurants and other businesses. There was no on‑site staff, and I struggled to get the keypad to work for building entry. After finally texting for help, I was lectured that everyone uses the same codes and nobody else has problems; heaven forbid you have a serious issue that needs attention.

The hotel is conveniently located and inexpensive, and the bartenders were excellent. However, the front‑desk staff were never friendly, and when they couldn’t hear my responses they accused me of being difficult. I expect they get a lot of business, but I’ll take my business travel elsewhere for a friendlier experience.

This place is a real gem in Point Richmond. We only stayed in the room we were assigned, but if the other rooms are even half as nice, you’re in for a treat. The main building’s restaurant is fantastic, with good live music some nights, and parking was hassle‑free. We stayed in the Annex, so I can’t comment on the other buildings, but they’re all close together.

The hotel is in downtown Richmond. As expected, traffic noise from the trains can be quite loud at night.

The staff were great, the downstairs bar is nice, and the food is good. The ownership has changed, so it’s not exactly what we anticipated, but it was still a decent stay. The rooms were very clean, and the soft towels and robes were a nice touch. The TVs were tiny, and the one in our living room was tucked into a cabinet whose doors blocked it, making it impossible to watch unless you move the TV to a table. Each room is quite different in design; if multiple rooms are available, they’ll let you see and choose. I wish they were all similar, but the aesthetic of our room was vintage and felt more thoughtfully designed, whereas the others were a bit kitschy and dark.
