The location is good. The vibe feels more like a hostel even though you pay hotel rates. Some areas could use better cleaning.
The hospitality and beautiful location are great. There is no option to get a drink or snack in between.
The location was fantastic and the team was great, always available and super kind. They cleaned my clothes, and if you let them know in advance they’ll make you dinner and breakfast, which was amazing, and they always prepared it before the time because I always had to do something before the opening. The cold shower and the already chilly afternoon didn’t make you feel great; I heard the day before they had a problem in those days so I suppose it’s not always the case… and it’s a bit far from the centre, so you always have to call a taxi which is expensive and not easy to get around unless you have a car; it’s the perfect place.
“Bugs in room, lying management.”
The place is located somewhere. With so many rooms and only two reviews, that’s suspicious. The owner told me a week ahead that a bug issue existed in one of the two rooms we’d booked side‑by‑side for three nights. No other accommodation in the area was under $1000/night, so we had no choice. With three small children we had to sleep in rooms on different floors. We checked out a night early because of this and asked for a refund. “How much?” they asked. We said “only for the one night.” Then they said we would not get any refund because they never promised rooms next to each other. This is a blatant lie and they know it! Pura Vida my ***
“Un bon compromis emplacement, qualité et prix”
An ecolodge with a stunning panorama and adorable staff. The lodge is quiet, away from the bustle and the world you encounter in Santa Elena. The rooms open onto a terrace and have a hammock to lounge with the lovely view. The room lacked lighting and the bathroom had a strong damp smell. Access to the lodge is via a steep, quite sporty road!
