I liked the historical displays, yet the place fell short on quality and comfort: the $300 a night room in the Annex was worth less than $100, lacking a fridge, coffee maker, glasses, had a stained carpet, broken baseboard, an old noisy A/C, and a dry air freshener that was only for show; the staff were poorly managed, unmotivated, and looked sloppy; the food was badly presented; after complaining to the owner we received a meager 15 % discount, which was unacceptable.
