The apartment is fine. There is a kitchen, but it isn’t very well equipped. There is a garden, which you share with others, and parking is directly from the house. The location feels like nowhere; the supermarket, restaurant, and beach can only be reached by car. Using the grill in the garden costs an extra 20 €, and you have to bring your own charcoal.

The house sits on a hill with a sea view, traditional style, surrounded by greenery. When I booked it wasn’t clear that the room had a shared bathroom (the issue has now been fixed, but the other couple stayed there and had the same surprise). The toilet paper ran out and wasn’t replaced for several hours. The room has a nice little balcony and the size is fine, but the furnishings are unacceptable. There’s a bulky dresser with drawers that won’t open, furniture with adhesive paper covering old surfaces, and the bed is a cheap one with a piece of paper glued to the wall as a headboard. We weren’t looking for luxury, just a simple but dignified country house, and we were disappointed. A few changes would make this room more welcoming. The outdoor space, while beautiful in theory, isn’t well maintained.

The surroundings are nice. I booked a room with a private bathroom (as it was listed on Booking) and found a shared one instead. I don’t mind it, but if that’s the case, adjust the price or at least list it in the description. They should install air conditioning or fans because it was quite hot in the room. Iñaki, the owner, is very pleasant.

The staff are a family business and everyone there was ready to help with a friendly face, kindness, and politeness – 10/10! The views are also very beautiful (sea views), but if you choose that room you get a shared bathroom. The walk to get there (about 3 minutes) is on a ramp with curves and a slight incline (if you’re not used to it, it can be a bit hard), but it’s manageable. The shared bathroom issue is another matter: we did get a shared one, but Booking didn’t specify it well. I think it’s more Booking’s fault than the property’s, but it did prevent us from enjoying the stay 100%. I’d still give it the top score because the place deserves it. I’d come back, but with a private bathroom (rooms that don’t face the sea).
