The location is spectacular, overlooking Dunmore East and just a 12‑minute walk to the town. The chalet is charming, well insulated, and fully equipped. A small box of teabags would have been nice—just a suggestion! We loved everything about the place.

A very relaxing break; Dunmore East is simply beautiful 😍 and the local alpaca trek was fantastic. More gluten‑free menus around town would be great.

The setting was amazing. The bed was uncomfortable—the mattress and linens were not up to the standard expected for the price.

The location and scenery were awesome in fine weather. The staff on duty who handled our arrival was on her first weekend, knew very little about our booking or the accommodation, and couldn’t clearly explain where it was or how we could safely access it. She took my credit card details—including expiration dates and CVV—on a paper sheet and left it exposed in the golf bar while serving drinks, showing no awareness of GDPR responsibilities. She then pointed us generally toward our cabin, and we drove there with luggage, sound gear, instruments, etc. No one told us we shouldn’t. We ended up locked on site when we tried to leave on Sunday morning because “only the golf course workers had keys to the gate,” and they wouldn’t return until the next day. “How did you get in there… agh, you shouldn’t have come down here at all!” That nightmare situation, especially considering the amount of money paid, was a huge let‑down. The location is lovely, but the operation is very shoddy. Welcome to Ireland… “go on down over there and you’ll be grand”!
