“I do not recommend this accommodation”
The hotel sits in a good spot even though the neighborhood feels a bit chaotic and dirty because it’s in the city center, but it’s close to the train station. The cleaning lady is very kind. Check‑in is tough because you have to deal with Pablo, though check‑out is easy. Breakfast is at a nearby coffee shop—nothing bad, just coffee and croissants, but it’s very busy and the service is poor; they can’t understand anything but Italian. I asked for fried eggs and they don’t know how to make them; the menu only offers omelets. The rooms are small, the bathroom door doesn’t close properly (so no privacy), and both the double and single beds creak with the slightest movement. You can’t trust Pablo; he says yes to any request but never follows through. He’s incompetent and should just say upfront that he can’t or won’t do something instead of wasting your time. He lacks the essential hospitality qualities of kindness, communication, reliability, and patience, and he loses his temper and control very easily, replying “okay” to any question.
