The customer service was good: the lady receptionist was very kind, accommodating, and spoke good English. There was also a male receptionist who was a little older but also very nice and accommodating, although we had difficulty conversing, he was very helpful and tried. The location could have been perfect, but during my visit the nearby area had ongoing construction that made it hard for drivers and Grab to get there. The ambiance felt a bit scary for a solo female traveler, but the receptionists were very nice.

The location of this hotel is a major draw, with the Chinese border just a short drive away. It's a great opportunity to visit the Chinese Gate and nearby temples, which are definitely worth a look. However, the proximity to the border also means you can hear the constant hum of traffic and activity, which can be a bit of a nuisance. Despite this, the hotel itself is a decent value for the price, with clean and comfortable rooms.

“寝るためだけ”

The hotel's location was fantastic, but unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The lack of an elevator was a major issue, especially with a staircase that seemed to go on forever. To make matters worse, the room only had one power outlet, which made it difficult to charge all my devices at once. I also had trouble paying with my credit card, and to top it all off, I spotted a gecko on the ceiling - not exactly what I wanted to see in my hotel room.

The location was pretty good, but the room was a bit cramped. I was expecting a bit more space, but it was still a decent place to stay.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made up for the roadworks right outside the hotel. It was a bit of a nuisance, but they did their best to minimize the disruption.
