We stayed in a self‑contained attic with amazing riverfront views. The kitchenette was superb and the bedroom was completely quiet. Breakfast options were great and we would definitely come back. The only drawback was the shower temperature, which ranged from very hot to almost skin‑melting hot! :-)

Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent; a bit more variety in pre‑prepared fruit—like apricots and kiwis—would have been nice. Overall, it was lovely. The bathroom was cramped, with no place to put cosmetics while using it. The loo seat was unsecured on one side when we arrived, but we reported it and it was fixed. We appreciated the excellent grab rail for safety by the bath/shower.

The staff were pleasant and the food was decent. The battered fish was great, but the chips were terrible. Breakfast was reasonable and the room seemed clean. The wallpaper was thin, so I couldn’t sleep through the night because of snoring in the next room—insulation is needed! There was a dodgy brown stain on a bath towel, the shower pressure was dreadful, and I had a battle with the soap dispensers.
