Breakfast was good and completely sufficient. For the price, it was great! The location was very quiet, slept well, and all the stars were visible. The street signage was a bit hard to spot, especially when searching for 'Gästehaus Bergwald'.

It is separated 2 km from the river and the last kilometre is uphill with about 700 m of slopes at 12 %–16 % when cycling with panniers, so if you’re doing bike‑touring with a muscular bike I don’t recommend it.

The people at Gästehaus Bergwald were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Wonderful location for hiking and comfortable, clean rooms

Beautiful location with trails nearby. The staff was extremely helpful. Nice rooms. Hiked up the main road with a significant incline to the hotel. Once arrived, it was great!!!

Very nicely furnished and just newly renovated. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is cozy right in the green.
