“Was nice but the lodges are very expensive for the price you pay I would expect the lodge to be upkeeped”

The decor was nicely themed. The lodge was run down; we stayed in the same lodge six months ago and the same issues were still present and not fixed. A blanket was stuck over the skylight and couldn’t be removed, so the skylight was covered, making the lodge very dark.

The property description is wrong. The bedroom/bathroom patio doors are directly overlooked by many fishermen from early morning until late, giving us no privacy in the bedroom; we only mitigated this by keeping the curtains shut for most of our stay.

The location was excellent, a lovely place. The reception staff were very welcoming. The restaurant and bar staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was brilliant. Everything was very clean, and the hot tub was fabulous. There were plenty of walks for the dog. We all had a fantastic time and would definitely return. The showers weren’t very powerful and made strange noises, but the bath and hot water were good.

“Scenic Relaxing cabins with great facilities a short walk away”

The hot tub with a view of the ponds was gorgeous, and the trees around it gave it a private feel. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Nothing else to complain about – I loved it and will return; it’s now my favorite place in Scotland.
