Brookvale Guest House Room 13

“Horrific had I stayed.”

Nothing positive. It was unsafe and filthy. People had been drinking on the roof right outside my window. There were wet liquid stains everywhere. I left immediately and asked for a refund. The owner never responded to me.

Nothing. Dirty and disgusting

Only the location was good. From the moment I arrived, the smell from room 13 was unbearable. I immediately contacted staff and explained the issue, so they moved me to room 17. Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. The floor was squeaking badly, the sink was blocked, and the door lock did not work properly — I had to keep trying several times before it would lock. The room had visible damage throughout, and the mattress was in such poor condition that I could feel the metal springs. On top of this, there was a serious safety issue during the night, when drunk residents in another room threw glass and plates from their window onto the driveway. My car was almost damaged, which made the whole stay feel unsafe and unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place

“Ok”

The spot is great, but the other guests were a bit of a nuisance.

The room was tidy and clean, basic but cheap, and checking in was easy with just a code—no staff. The mattress could use an upgrade, and the other guests were very noisy.
