The house was scorching hot; the floor heating was on full blast and the lock prevented us from touching the thermostat. The bedrooms were also very warm, and the next morning we discovered the air‑conditioning was off with no instructions on how to turn it on or any notice that it had been shut off.

The location was quiet and peaceful, especially outside of the season. Walking or cycling conditions were good for personal movement. The vacation apartment was spacious. However, when we arrived the apartment was poorly cleaned: the floor was dirty, there were dirty dishes among clean ones, the baking trays, oven, and stove were covered in black burnt residue, dust and dead insects inside the lamps, sharp nails on the sauna walls, a stained sofa, a dirty toilet bowl, a smoke detector hanging from the ceiling, and the fire blanket only had its outer shell on the wall— the blanket itself was missing. It should have been cleaned, but the apartment lacked a vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies. I reported the issues to the reception, where the lack of cleanliness was not even apologized for at any point. The rooms were pretty nice but poorly maintained.
