“extremely uncomfortable, and unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at all.”

I was very disappointed with our stay at Baviaanskloof Laaste Kamp – Wild Bush Camping. There was no hot water, no proper washing facilities, no braai area or self‑catering provisions, making the stay very inconvenient. The price was excessive for what was offered. The unit had no fan, no electricity, and very poor ventilation, which made it extremely uncomfortable in the hot conditions. Overall, the accommodation was extremely uncomfortable, and we did not enjoy our stay at all.

“All in all, considering the negatives, it was a pleasant, relaxing stay.”

I liked the cabin and the location. The solar power was weak, only enough to charge one full cell; the panels were constantly shaded and the cable was too short to move them to sunny spots. The beds were too low. We, as pensioners, found the cabin too close to the shared toilet path, which was unpleasant. The pool was fine, except that a daily sweep of the slime and a flush would have been welcome.

No power was awesome. Next to the main road Monkeys are a huge pest

“We’ll definitely come again”

The place was spotless and well maintained, and the campsites were spaced nicely so no one felt crowded. We didn’t find anything we didn’t like!

“No communication from the host, infrastructure needs attention and bush was overgrown on camp sites”

The grounds were overgrown and seemed poorly cared for, but the location was convenient.
