“Host was great and helpful, polite and friendly, room was clean and comfortable with coffee and tea in the room overall gr”
The place was secluded, spotless, and super comfortable—nothing could be said about it.
“It was a wonderful week at Calwons Bayith.”
Calwons Bayith is a beautifully restored guest house in the charming village of Cavorim in the Chandor region; upon entering, a cool marble‑floored hall leads past an indoor pool to one of four stylish rooms with a large, comfortable double bed. Clifton, the owner, and Muny, his assistant, made our week‑long stay enjoyable, and breakfast was included at a convenient time, offering cereals, fruit & yoghurt, toast, and eggs cooked to order. A short walk through the picturesque countryside brings you to the town centre, where shops and a local market supply fresh fruit and veg, and two 500‑year‑old Heritage houses let you explore medieval Goa’s history and architecture. In the evenings, the garden under the gazebo was a lovely spot to relax with a drink and listen to local wildlife. All in all, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely return.
“Perfect weekend spot and away location”
Cleanliness and a countryside location made for a great stay.
The rooms were roomy and clean, and the breakfast was simple yet delicious and freshly made; however, they did not accept card payments.
“Overall short but pleasant stay. Will like to visit again and recommend to others.”
A nice place with excellent amenities, though the shower in the bathroom needs attention because the water pressure was quite low.
