The room was very nice, lovingly furnished and clean; the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ample and tasty; I liked the stocked fridge in the house and the option to make my own coffee or tea, so we’ll come back.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful; the room had information about Eisenach’s gastronomy, sights, etc., which was very useful; breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared, plentiful, with a good selection of rolls and bread, and we’ll stay there again on our next visit to Eisenach and recommend the pension; parking is available without extra cost, though only two spots are right in front of the pension and the others are about 150 m uphill.

The host was very pleasant and friendly and tried to find solutions; the room itself was very clean and the bathroom was freshly renovated and in good condition, but I have to point out two issues: parking is suboptimal, with only two spots in front of the house and the rest up the mountain far away—if you still have luggage in the car it’s not ideal; the second issue that bothered me more was that the room’s furnishings had the vibe of a youth hostel (the bathroom was great), and the beds were extremely uncomfortable, including the pillows which were an absolute nightmare, the bedding was rough, faded, and already worn, and the mattress was lopsided and felt like you’d roll forward out of bed—really disappointing.
