The room and breakfast were excellent, the staff were helpful and friendly, and there was a nice bar to return to in the evening. The pre‑booked parking was very useful because the surrounding streets were very busy, especially in the evenings. The only complaint was that the stairs were very steep, but we had been offered a ground‑floor twin when we booked, which we declined, so it was our choice.

Excellent location, 5 minute walk to the promenade and beach. The rooms were presented to a high spec & done really well. Beds were comfy and as an added bonus the TV in the room had YouTube premium installed. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. Parking is available, which we took, for an extra charge, well worth it. Overall, the presentation and stay at The Dolphin was exceptional
