The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a stunning view. The balcony was above the restaurant terrace and was very noisy; the private terrace bordered the parking lot where, in the mornings, groups of motorcyclists met and revved their bikes—quite loud.

A stunning view, decent breakfast, lunch and dinner all bookable flexibly each day, solid local cuisine with a fixed price per course, water and wine included, and a very entertaining weekly Sicilian evening, plus very friendly staff – highly recommend! The many, sometimes extremely steep hairpin turns depend on which side you approach from, and the highway a bit below the valley can be heard; both are tolerable.

The location, the view, pleasant staff, family‑friendly vibe, and the pool were all great. Staying in a small annex was fine, but there was no outdoor lamp and the Wi‑Fi didn’t reach inside. The bed needed a mattress topper.

The entire property is lovely and well kept. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the dinner was excellent. The view from the restaurant terrace and the pool is especially wonderful at sunrise. The room was very clean despite older furniture and fittings. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize at booking that my room (4‑bedroom / room No. 21) was in a building that curves. Every passing car is heard twice – when braking and when accelerating. They offered me a move to the main house on the second night (the first night was fully booked), but since the road was much less busy after 10 pm and I wanted to be out during the day, I didn’t bother.
