The place is in a superb spot and the staff are very friendly and helpful, plus the breakfast is excellent. We accepted the room even though we knew it didn’t have a toilet.

The old‑world charm and warm welcome were a nice surprise – it’s just enough to have a roof over your head on the Via Alpina. The only hiccup was the communal shower stall on the upper floor; the door wouldn’t stay shut and it felt like it might slip out of our hands 😂. Overall, a pleasant, simple spot.
