Mary’s welcome was outstanding in such a beautiful setting! The location is a bit out of the way, but the room is lovely and clean, complete with a real shower—an absolute luxury in Indonesia! You can do rafting on the river below the property, and Mary can arrange a trek to Bromo for you. It’s truly a perfect relaxation break.

Mr. Mary was very nice, gave us fruit from her garden as a welcome gift, and helped us find contacts for local activities. The room was cozy, no AC, but you really don’t need it. It was quite cold in Malang compared to the rest of Java. The shower had hot water and was comfortable.
