The price was reasonable and the room stayed clean. However, the hallways and elevators looked rundown, with paint peeling off doorframes and the elevators barely working.

The bed was very comfortable, yet the pillows were tiny—twin‑size pillows for a twin bed, not a king. The shower was hot, but the tub was unsafe; it lacked grab bars and handrails. I had to call daily about the TV, which worked only half the time. The AC was so loud that I called maintenance on day one, and although it got quieter, it was still noisy. Whenever the TV turned on, I couldn't hear it, so I blasted the volume, and when it turned off, it was still loud. At 3 am there was a lot of hallway noise, and at 5:30 am someone was drilling in the next room—early‑morning noise was ridiculous. Breakfast was cold, barely lukewarm, and the holding temperature was wrong; as a food‑industry professional, I couldn't accept that. If I return to San Angelo, I won’t stay at this hotel again.

The facility was generally dirty; stairways were cluttered with trash and grime, and the room had peeling paint and water damage.

The room was spacious and the mattress very comfortable. The breakfast bar was great with excellent coffee. The Wi‑Fi in the room was down, so I couldn’t watch TV and had to use my phone’s hotspot; thankfully the TV asked me to forget my login info!
