The hotel is very close to the center, and the reception staff are extremely kind (As Roma more lively than Fener… 😉 Highly recommended).

You can't pick a better location, but I advise tourists to stay near the Egyptian Bazaar where many hotels at similar prices exist; one advantage was that we were let into a room an hour before check‑in. We are staying at this hotel for the third time, but we will not return. The hotel has deteriorated! We rented two identical rooms (303 and 304): their sizes differed dramatically, almost twice as large, and one of them had no declared fridge, even though it was still hot in Istanbul. Breakfast runs from 8:00 to 10:30, but arriving at 8:40 you will have to eat what remains from other guests – food is not replenished, the omelette was even insufficient for half the people, and other dishes were practically absent. I would not give such a rating solely because of breakfast – the main problem was the towels: after each cleaning the number of towels decreased, until on the last night we were left with one wet, already used bath towel for two people. No other towels were provided. My complaint at reception did nothing, even though the hotel staff promised to bring towels. Throughout the night we had to dry ourselves with a damp cloth for two people. Very unpleasant feeling.

The location is great, the rooms are fine, only a bit of trouble turning on the lights, the breakfast is good, the street parking is closed at the back. The hotel feels dated.
