The location next to the cathedral is enviable, and the room was immaculate. The shower placed outside the bathroom was a real hassle: if you want to shower early or late, you end up waking the other guest, there's no privacy, and the room gets wet.

The room was pretty, new, and clean. We stayed on the top floor without an elevator, which wasn’t a problem for us because we could climb three flights and we only stayed two nights; the listing said there was no lift, but if I had come with my mother—who isn’t that old but would still struggle—it would have been good to highlight that detail. Knowing this, I’d still book, but for a ten‑night holiday I’m uncertain.

Everything very tidy, uncomplicated online check‑in, except the cleaning lady; no one else on site. It's in a pedestrian zone and not reachable by car; finding a nearby parking spot is pure luck if you don't know Cecina.
