Every time I return to Taipei I end up at this hotel because it’s right by Jiantan Station, making getting around a breeze.

The place sits right next to the MRT, Shilin night market, and the rooms are pretty nice.
“Very comfortable and convenient hotel but you will be disappointed if you need help.”
The Social Room was great, breakfast was pricey but tasty, and the location is superb; the room was quiet and comfy even though it’s right across from the MRT. The front‑desk staff, except for a young man on a very early shift, were not friendly, never smiled, and seemed annoyed when we asked questions. The girl in the perfume area and the older woman at breakfast were very nice. The room fridge was useless, the room was dusty, and the elevator key cards were hard to use with staff unwilling to help.
I checked in at 4 p.m., which was a bit inconvenient.
