Gili La Boheme

The staff were very nice and helpful, the location was excellent, and the overall vibe was very pleasant, but the place was a bit dirty.

“The view is very good. The location is near the beach..”

The location was neat and close to the beach, but they wouldn't accept card payments, there was no lockable cupboard for passports, and the attendant was rude to me.

The location was very good, the room was nice, there was a pool, and the place was very chill, but I cannot recommend it – we booked Gili La Boheme mainly for the pool and a 12:00 check‑in, yet after arriving after 11:00 the room was ready but had low water pressure, so they moved us to Gili La Boheme Mini, about an 8‑10 minute walk from the original spot, which was fine. At the Mini building the pool was not working, which is understandable, but we had to wait until 14:30 for our room, which was unacceptable after a long trip. The rooms were already vacant, yet the staff had to clean them after previous guests, which could have been quicker, but they stuck to their schedule. Given the building switch, the non‑functional pool, and the extra hours we had to wait for check‑in, the experience was unacceptable.

“Very lively hostel in the evenings. Guitar and singing in the lounge every night.”

The staff kept the hostel maintained and it served its purpose for backpackers, but the AC did not work well at all.

Basic but good breakfast. In general Gili Trawangan is struggling with water issues, to not constant flow of water but all places in Gili Trawangan struggling right now
