The hotel was located at the stop of our night bus. We were changed to a different room without notice and given a lower‑class room without windows, with an unmade bed and a barely cleaned room. They also tried to charge us a fee and didn’t reduce the price for the room change.

The manager was very welcoming and offered us a beer that turned into a meal at a local Vietnamese restaurant. He also arranged a loop tour. The price was 1.5 million dong per person per day, which included driver, meals, accommodation and activities. Departure could be arranged the next day. The tour showed both tourist spots and more remote places. Another advantage was that we weren’t in a group; we were two people each with our own driver. The only drawback was that the drivers didn’t speak English, but we could manage with phones. An English‑speaking option (with basic English from the manager) is available for 1.7 million dong per person per day. I recommend this loop! Throughout the tour the manager checked in with us to make sure everything was fine and also booked bus tickets for our next destination at slightly better prices. Overall the manager was very attentive during the stay, even though he doesn’t speak English, but phone communication works well.

The price was cheap, the room was clean and spacious, and the shower produced plenty of hot water. There were many restaurants around, and the owner was friendly. No complaints.

“Highly recommended!”

The location is just near the center, and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us book a bus from Ha Giang to Sapa and also provided good transportation, a tour, and a driver during our Ha Giang loop.
