Breakfast was excellent, with high‑quality ingredients, plenty of options, well‑cooked and presented, generous portions to start the day, and the hosts were warm, friendly, and hospitable in a relaxed setting; however, the décor felt a bit dated, the dark wood furniture looked old‑fashioned, and the stairs were a challenge for me due to limited mobility, though that’s my personal issue, not the hotel’s fault.

“Breakfast delicious. Staff great. Mattresses old and hard.”

Breakfast was abundant and tasty, we enjoyed a sea view, the location was easy to find with clear instructions, and the bar stayed open for drinks on a Sunday afternoon; unfortunately, sleep was poor because the two single beds were both hard and uncomfortable, and since it was a Sunday the restaurant was closed for dinner, so we drove back into New Quay.

“Beyond disappointing and refund needed”

Breakfast was good, but the building was dilapidated, the bathroom door didn’t close, the shower was filthy, the toilet seat and bathroom floor were faulty, and there was a stale smell in the breakfast room; cleaning materials were scattered all over the stairs, creating a trip hazard, and the whole place needed cleaning; customer service was very poor; the outside car park needs tidying up; the entrance door had no sign posted.
