The apartment sits right in the city centre, and within minutes you find all the conveniences – metro, restaurants, bars, and bus routes around the town. It’s tidy and comfortable, though the bathroom window faced a building just 1.5 m away, so the view was a wall and the space felt a bit tight.

It was new and well equipped, but the listing was confusing and didn’t make clear that it was a shared apartment with two private rooms.

“Loved the location!”

I was surprised that the “suite” actually contained two bedrooms, each with its own key, sharing a kitchen and lounge area. I felt safe and comfortable with that setup, though others might not. Technically it can be called a suite, but not in the usual sense. The location was great. The building is essentially an apartment block with these rental units.

The location was fine, but the apartment was split into two “hotel rooms” – rooms 1 and 2 – each with a bathroom, a shared kitchen, and a shared living room with a TV. I had room 1, which had windows with no view; I looked out onto rubbish and had to keep the lights on. The bedroom at least had a roller blind, but the bathroom had none. Room 2 had windows and French doors. I won’t say more. My door didn’t close properly and had gaps all around. In room 2 a couple with a one‑year‑old child cried all evening, and my door wasn’t sound‑proof. The man used the TV every night, so there wasn’t much to share.

Pulitissima, con un bel arredamento e dotata di servizi. Difficilissimo dormire nella camera che dava su Praca Restaudores. Suoni di clacson continui tutta la notte, sarà un'abitudine in Portogallo. È stato davvero spiacevole.
