Best value for money, nothing to complain about.

The place does have a kitchen, but there was not even one plate, only two small glasses, practically no cutlery, no wine glasses or opener, and the whole property has several rooms. There was no iron in any of the rooms. When I booked, the listing said breakfast was included in the price – there was no breakfast at all, and when I asked the owner, he said he didn’t understand what I meant. The bar downstairs was good, but once you ordered and paid for coffee, that was it. Another issue: when booking, I was told my fee already covered all taxes and other charges, but the owner made me pay a tax. Overall the room was tidy, but the shower cabin was a disaster and the biggest abuse was the room description claiming a sea view – it was actually a view of a neighboring block, very close to the sea, with only a tiny bit of balcony visible from the bathroom.

The neighbors were very rude.

The location was good because it faced the seafront, but the room was in an old building, dirty and the surroundings were also dirty. The elevator door was rusty, the entrance carpet was stained and unsightly. Poor cleaning and maintenance were obvious; the room was only roughly reset and not sanitized. The worst part were the windows, probably original from the 70s, with wooden slats held by a rusted wire guide that had eroded for decades. The rope was worn and frayed, and you needed gloves just to use it. The balcony was dirty, rusty everywhere, had no seating, and a wall-mounted boiler had eroded from the weather. The curtain was useless. The shower cabin was full of mold around the perimeter. Lighting was poor. Breakfast took place in a very vintage bar on the ground floor with a maximum budget of 3 euros. Overall, the general conditions were below the expected cleanliness standards for a lodging and made the stay uncomfortable. A place to forget.
