The staff and owners were very nice and helpful, offering many valuable tips about traveling in Cape Town, restaurants, wine estates, etc. We were lucky to meet other guests who were equally friendly and communicative. Breakfast was lovely and flexible to accommodate individual requests. The Dongola Guest House is in a very quiet neighborhood, close to Table Mountain (even with a nearby trail). Since our expectations were exceeded, it feels unnecessary to find faults, but if you’re after nonstop animation, all‑inclusive food and drink, party vibes, and endless music, this isn’t for you.

We were thrilled with our time at The Dongola Guesthouse; the whole experience felt beautiful and we enjoyed every minute. The breakfast was fantastic, and Natalie, the host, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and lovely. The place was spotless, and we felt comfortable, relaxed, and peaceful throughout. We’re definitely planning to return.

The setting was gorgeous, and the room and décor were lovely and very clean. The hosts were super kind and friendly, and the breakfasts were wonderful. I’d recommend it without hesitation and would stay again for sure.

The Dongola Guesthouse is a dream spot! The rooms are very beautiful and clean. The team is very warm. The location is very quiet and relaxed. We’ll come back!
