I booked through him and the host is shameless and unashamed; I had a reservation and he told me a European guest had taken a whole week. I had booked 4 days, but he cancelled my reservation because someone else took it, without any apology, and left me surprised.

The owner was extremely kind and helpful, which made the stay feel special; it's not new, but cozy, inexpensive, and the shower is scorching hot! I really enjoyed it, and it’s easy to reach by metro.

The place lives up to the photos – everything looks just as it does online and the neighborhood feels safe. The owner greets you with a smile and is genuinely welcoming. Being right next to Ismail metro and right behind Bravo supermarket makes getting around a breeze.

For the price you can’t beat this spot in the city; it feels more like a home than a hostel. The room is cozy, quiet and perfect for a solid rest. All in all, just a superb place to stay.

Ravil was incredibly warm and went out of his way to explain the local transport options and point out the sights worth seeing. His help made my time in Baku run smoothly, something I can’t imagine doing without him. A truly pleasant host.
