“Parfaitement parfait”

I finally learned that asking the right questions is essential: do the windows open, is the balcony secure, does the water come from a well, is there an abandoned garage next to the property, does the fridge have even a tiny freezer (ice cubes are great during a heatwave), is there enough dishware if a couple of friends come to dinner, is the roof watertight even with peeling cladding, is there a cleaning kit or at least a broom, and should we take photos of the floor to avoid unjust complaints… Wow… A very nice experience. The host is pretty friendly if you don’t make any remarks. Dogs are allowed, thank you. Even though a pet sitter failed us, we had to leave the dogs in the accommodation (they’re used to work schedules and very clean)… I recommend this place. At departure, the owner found a “dog smell” that only he could detect. We had covered the sofa, bed, and floor with clean covers and freshly cleaned rugs. Before leaving, after requesting the necessary cleaning, we cleaned the attic bedroom and returned it cleaner than it was. If needed, I have some photos… We slept with the large bay window open (impossible to open the window: no handle). Smell??? Imaginary stain while my dog was on our rug??? We travel with our dogs, even to the hotel. No such remark ever.

It was quiet, well equipped, well insulated, and very comfortable. The location was perfect for going to the du Puy.

The accommodation is tastefully arranged, no major flaws, quiet and calm, not far from the Puy du Fou. The space is small.
