Dog and castle

I had a lovely stay here, the rooms were set up nicely. The staff were lovely and the goat and pool were an added bonus 😁

The food was some of the best I’ve seen while working away. An absolute gem of a place. Staff and customers were mint 👍👍

“Pet friendly and nice location.”

The staff at Dog and Castle were lovely. My dogs and I were made to feel very welcome. The room was larger than expected. Food was very good and there was a nice selection of beers in the bar. The shower in my room wasn't working. It was a one‑night stay so I didn't have time to try and get it sorted.

“Prima accommodatie met simpele maar uitstekende keuken.”

We stayed with our dog and the name of the accommodation fully met our four‑legged friend’s expectations. Nice owners also with an excellent kitchen. The rooms were a bit dated but otherwise had everything you need for a good night’s sleep. I liked everything, but I can imagine some people might find the accommodation a bit “alternative.” A cozy mix of hotel and “care farm” with people of diverse backgrounds. With dogs that wander a bit, a goat and a hanging pig. But that made the stay extra fun for me.
