“Would not return”

The hotel itself feels run down and needs renovation. The rooms weren’t properly cleaned and the restaurant food was below average. The pool area is nice, but the staff don’t enforce hygienic use of the pool.

The resort was peaceful, but the breakfast was only okay and not worthy of a four‑star rating. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor—a problem I’ve seen in many domestic resorts and hotels. The windows looked neglected, with lizards, dust and grime all over them.

“Ausgezeichneter Pool und solides Frühstück”

The pool was wonderful, with plenty of loungers and towels, and a lifeguard was always present at both the pool and the beach. The different water depths were suitable for both swimmers and non‑swimmers, and the cleaning was diligent. The housekeeping staff did a good job overall. Breakfast was balanced and had something for everyone. There was a nice kids’ corner with archery and swings, etc. The bathroom was not great—no storage for a toiletry bag and little privacy on the toilet (glass door and curtain). We couldn’t swim in the sea because of frequent waves, but walking was fine. There was a lot of litter, though it’s easy to pick up while strolling ;). The restaurant was okay but pricey, and the bartenders could use more practice with cocktails. Some areas could be better “hidden.” There were a few shabby spots, like behind the restaurant and the playground, which I didn’t want to see directly.

The pool villa we stayed in was huge, with stunning interior and exterior décor, and felt very luxurious. The pool itself was so large we never needed to use the smaller one below, and the windows sealed tightly, which was reassuring. Although the staff struggled with English, they were very sincere in their assistance. I played tennis every day and enjoyed an active stay. The downside was that, despite having three bathrooms, only one supplied hot water and the flow was very weak; the jacuzzi also barely heated and didn’t work even after filling it. On the first night several insects crawled inside, so I had to spray insecticide I brought from Japan, which solved the problem the next day.

Breakfast buffet was fine, the place was quiet, and the restaurant cooked well. Getting around was slow because I had to wait a long time for a ride. The room rate was high compared to other nearby services, and the stairs to the room were unsafe and slippery.
