The room was an absolute beauty and offered the best value for money on this holiday, especially in such an amazingly beautiful place—if I hadn’t stayed there myself I wouldn’t have believed the value, because for that money I would not have expected such a beautiful place! The only drawback was that they had no idea how to accommodate vegans and barely had capacity for strict vegetarian diets, which was very disappointing!

Die Zimmer waren groß und geräumig, das Bad super, kein Moskitonetz aber die Fenster dicht – wir haben keine Mücken gesehen oder gehört. Der Service war nett und das Essen war wirklich gut. Als wir früh auscheckten und das Frühstück verpassten, bereiteten sie uns extra Sandwiches für die Weiterfahrt vor. Sehr zuvorkommendes Hotel.

I liked the location and the plunge pool was fab, especially the shower – probably the best in Sri Lanka. However, even though we pre‑ordered breakfast the night before and told them our departure time, it wasn’t delivered when we asked and took a while to arrive, which delayed us. Also note the hotel can’t serve alcohol, but you’re allowed to bring your own if you wish.
