“Only if you don’t have another Alternative”
The location is fine, but the room is small, the WC‑shower is very old, and there was a problem with hot‑cold water.
“The School days theme was done very well. I woukd stay there afain.”
We were in town for a concert at The Greek Theatre, and the hotel was within walking distance; my dog loved the digved they provided, and I’ll be looking for a place like this again, though it wasn’t really affordable if you’re on a budget.
“Overprice, outdated but good location”
The spot is exactly what you pay for—perfect if you need to be near UC Berkeley. It’s a classic old hotel with its own set of pros and cons. The room and bathroom are very small, the bathroom feels dated, and the shower water temperature swings wildly from scalding hot to freezing cold.
“Excellent location and very professional personnel”
It was very convenient to be near Berkeley University, and nothing else comes to mind.
“Loved the location, not the facilities.”
The location is close to the Berkeley campus. The price is high, the room is small and lacks amenities, breakfast service is slow, and several items are missing or not working.
