The hosts were very friendly, kind and welcoming. We had the chance to see the owners’ farm as well as other properties they own nearby. It was a very pleasant experience, with tranquility. I recommend visiting the Fermil de Basto river beach, which is 8 minutes by car and is super pleasant. Nothing significant to point out. The only thing that might bother is the presence of insects and arachnids in the house: it is natural to happen, since it is a country house in the middle of nature.

A fantastic spot tucked in a green valley full of vineyards, fruit trees, and olive groves. The place feels very original and traditional, yet the large bed is comfortable, the shower is good, and the air‑conditioning is quiet. The private yard is huge (the other accommodation wasn’t rented) and even has a small pool. The occasional flicker of the lamps and the breaker tripping when all kitchen appliances ran at once added a charming character that fit the house. The host was very warm and always reachable, and the washing machine was handy. We could use everything the garden offered, including fresh figs straight from the tree!

We loved the organic apple juice. The staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. The air conditioning worked well! The outdoor area is great for staying, we loved the rural vibe, seeing lots of fruit, hearing water fall, and enjoying peace and quiet. The pool made a difference; it was very pleasant because the heat was intense! However, the value for money was high for the location itself. It didn’t feel very clean; the glasses were dirty, we had to wash some items, and the house water was slightly cloudy. There wasn’t a new sponge, the one there seemed old; that needs attention. We missed a few more utensils for cooking, there was no place to put the dishes, and every room had many spider webs, giving the impression that cleaning needs improvement. Overall, the cleaning was lacking!
