“Comfortable and Cosy.”

The bed was the highlight—soft and comfortable—and the room layout is great. I also really like the location. The last time I stayed, about a year ago, the aesthetic was different; it felt more cosy and unique. Now it feels a little more mainstream and similar to other places. I suspect they removed some of the beautiful pictures they used to have, and the walls are more bare. There may have been other changes I can’t quite pinpoint. It used to feel like a boutique hotel, but now it feels more like a conventional hotel. It’s still a wonderful place to stay, but I wish they had kept more of the unique individual style that was amazing.

“It was okay. A microwave and laundry would actually make this place worth it.”

Pool table and chess were nice additions, and the cleaners did a good job on the rooms. There weren’t many breakfast options at the all‑you‑can‑eat breakfast. Dinner at the hotel involved a massive wait for food that came out cold, even though the restaurant was basically empty. No laundry facility was a big let‑down; reception can wash 10 items for $25 and promises a 24‑hour turnaround, which feels like money‑grabbing. A coin machine like a laundromat charging up to $5 for a load would be fairer. The pool needs to be changed; the pool table isn’t level and needs better cues. No microwave or microwave access made the fridge in the room useless because there was no way to reheat food.

Being dog‑friendly was a huge plus; our dogs felt spoiled and the dog room service was amazing. The room itself was clean, and the regular room service was simple but good.
