“Thanks for the amazing memories waya lailai xox”
The Waya Lailai exceeded my expectations; the staff are the nicest people ever, and the snorkeling right outside the front is stunning. The shark snorkeling was amazing and the village visit was the icing on the cake. I just wish I had stayed longer; hot showers after a long snorkel would have been nice, but it wasn’t terrible. I’d definitely visit again.

The location was good and the breakfast was good. The rough behavior of the boat driver that took me and fellow travelers to the island from the ferry was disappointing.

Este alojamiento fue una sorpresa para mí, lo mejor fue la gente que trabaja ahí. Me llevo un pedazo conmigo, los fiyianos son super amables pero estos me llegaron al corazón. Joshua, Ken, Mosi, Josehp y más. La comida también es sensacional y recomiendo mucho el hiking a la montaña, unas vistas increíbles.
The island is beautiful. The huts are right on the beach facing the water; a lot of reefs around and a beautiful hike up to the top of the island. What makes the place special is the communal vibe: staff are friendly and the shared food/hang out hall encourages people to interact with each other. The no‑wifi also is a nice chance to disconnect. We got caught there during a 3‑day storm where we couldn’t leave the island or do activities, but still had a great time walking around and getting to know people. Lots of activities on offer. The accommodation was quite run down, both the rooms and the bathrooms. Activities were a bit overpriced compared to other islands.
