“Dont go there , not value for money”

The location was good, but the staff weren’t friendly, breakfast and dinner weren’t provided as promised, and overall it wasn’t worth the money; I’d advise others to avoid it.

“Not worth it at all and deceptive pictures for such high prices😔”

We paid about 26k for two rooms for five family members over three days, wanted to cancel after the first day but couldn’t because there was no cancellation policy—other luxury houseboats let us cancel five minutes before check‑in. The rooms cost more than 4.5k per day for a space with tap water running in the washrooms and no ventilation; using the toilets released an odor that filled the room. Better rooms and service are available elsewhere with good restaurants and kitchens. Only one staff member was present and rude; no water bottles were offered for the three‑day stay, and we only got one bottle for three people after a heated argument. The photos misled us—only the location looked fine, there was no operational kitchen, and to eat we had to give a five‑hour notice because there was no staff. A promised three‑person room with an extra cot turned into a double bed room with a mattress on the floor. Check‑in was at 2 pm; we arrived at 11:30 and were denied early check‑in rudely with no response for a long time. The manager, in collusion with a cab driver, made us wait until 2 pm and we didn’t receive the rooms until around 3 pm. The owner took a commission for the taxi booking, sending a cab at 3200 per day while the driver claimed he earned 2800–3000 for the day. When I asked, the manager started shouting. The commission was about 300–400 per day—plain theft. The manager didn’t show up until 10 am, so complaints were impossible. Cars couldn’t park inside; the manager smoked openly in front of ladies and children. Frequent power cuts with no backup left us in the dark at night, with only a small light working and no fans in the summer heat in Srinagar.
