“Translation results The stay was pleasant, peaceful, and full of kindness.”

Bernard is an amazing host, full of great qualities, and the food was spot on; I enjoyed learning about his passion for nature and sports. The setting felt fresh and spotless, clearly showing his meticulous attention to detail, which is hard to find these days. I have no complaints except that the weather was not ideal, but everything else was perfect.

“Super cozy and peaceful, a real disconnection from the daily noise!”

We’ve stayed with Bernie before and he’s still the best. He makes every visit feel special for us, especially with the breakfast eggs cooked just right and the local steak that’s out of this world. Even though it was scorching, his HVAC kept the house breezy and we slept like babies. I had a back injury and needed a firmer mattress, and he sorted that out too. Can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Ardennes!

“Friendly host, but misleading facilities”

The host was super friendly and even brought homemade food and breakfast, which was a nice touch. The beds were comfy with great pillows, and the shower, sauna, and toilets were all top‑notch. But we chose this place because it advertised air conditioning, which was crucial for our newborn during a blistering weekend. Unfortunately, there was no AC and the TV was broken, so the house stayed hot despite the owner’s claim it’s designed to stay cool.
