The place was a total gem – the staff were super friendly, the lobby was quiet and the birds chirping outside added a nice touch. Cleanliness was spot‑on and every morning the breakfast door opened to a new, delicious surprise. We felt right at home and very comfortable.

Breakfast was spot‑on, lovingly prepared and tasty. The only thing that could have made it better was a fan or air circulator to keep the room a bit cooler – but it didn't ruin anything, just a small suggestion.

Everything was wonderful – the hosts were attentive, the setting cozy, and breakfast was excellent.

The location and breakfast were solid, but the rooms feel dated and the bathrooms are tiny. There's a bird aviary right outside the rooms that starts singing early – I was a light sleeper and it kept me up. Also, breakfast starts at 08:30, which is late for early‑rising guests or families with kids.

The lodge has a cool vintage vibe with art everywhere, but the rooms are tiny, no view, and the bathrooms are cramped with plastic fixtures – the shower is underwhelming too. The price feels high for what you get.
