“Excelente ubicación, experiencia única”

The spot was great. Sleeping on a boat was a one‑of‑a‑kind experience, the breakfast was solid, and the crew were super friendly. The cabin experience, however, felt more like a cramped individual bunk than a romance—tiny single beds, a single window for ventilation that made the cabin stuffy and hot, and if you were on the wharf side, passersby could see right into the cabin and hear everything. The bathroom was shared, though each cabin had its own sink. The light in the cabin flickered a lot; they promised to fix it but we couldn’t coordinate because we were out all day. In the end, a night light did the trick.

“Good, but know what to expect”

The boat was clean, well kept, and a nice price for a good spot to see Amsterdam. The double cabins were cute, and breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a range of fresh sweet options that kicked off the day. We liked being able to stash our bags in the afternoon until our train left. The crew were friendly and attentive. On the first night, there was no hot water and nobody warned us or explained why; it was back the next day. Our cabin had a tiny window and no ventilation, so it got hot and humid at night, making it hard to sleep. The walls are thin, so once everyone else woke up, the noise was unavoidable.

“Nicht zu empfehlen”

Not too far from the center, breakfast was fine. On the first of the two days, there was almost 15 hours without power. The staff were practically invisible. The rooms were very damp because of a tiny window that had mold, so it felt like sleeping in wet bedding.

“Más o menos”

They didn’t even offer an extra plate for night‑time meals, saying they’re not a hostel, they’re a “hotel”… a decent “hotel” if they’d just give guests a simple plate and a few more things.
